1 – The amount of calories a typical male would need to consume if they have a low activity level is 2,250 calories at age 12, 2700 calories at age 14 and around 2600 calories during adulthood.

2 – The amount of calories a typical female would need to consume if they have a low activity level is 2,000 calories at age 12, 2100 calories at age 14 and around 2100 calories during adulthood.

3 – The first restaurant opened in Paris, France on August 27th 1765.

4 – The average person eats about 4 pounds of food per day.

5 – Eating breakfast has been shown to improve concentration and cognitive function throughout the entire day. Eating a healthy breakfast also helps curb cravings for unhealthy foods later in the day.
