6 – Coal became cheaper due to innovations like deep-mines but also because there were more people available to mine coal (women) who could work at lower wages than men.

7 – The industrial revolution was when people started to use machines instead of human labor. Factories were built so that they could produce more goods with less people.

8 – Some factories had child laborers, who worked for very low wages and dangerous conditions. People protested against these terrible working conditions by forming unions or going on strike.

Eventually, laws were passed to protect workers from unsafe conditions and exploitation.

9 – The Industrial Revolution began with the mechanization of textile production, such as spinning and weaving cotton cloth by machine.

11 – Factory owners could now control their workers more effectively than when they worked at home or in small workshops.

The Industrial Revolution ended around 1900 after new technologies, like electricity, were introduced that made handwork less important.

12 – One of the most important inventions during this time was the steam engine, which allowed for people to do work outside their home.

There were many other innovations that came from this period including electricity and mass production of steel.

13 – It began when mechanized production of textiles started, which made it possible to produce a lot more clothes at low cost.

This increased competition between textile producers for raw materials, since there were now many factories producing cotton cloth

14 – There was an increase in coal mining because of increasing demand for coal as fuel for steam engines, so there was also an increase in canals and railroads to transport coal from mine to factory with fewer horses needed.

15 – Textile industries became less important after World War I because they couldn’t compete with overseas manufacturers who could use lower-priced labor.

16 – The invention of the spinning jenny machine led to factories using water power instead of human or animal power because waterpower is cheaper than employing people or animals.

17 – The first textile factory opened in 1719 and employed about 100 people. During this time, there were many protests from workers who wanted better working conditions and shorter hours.

22 – Factories were powered by steam engines, which used coal to generate power. Factories led to a rise in urbanization because people moved there for work.

There was an increase of poverty because many families had to send their children into factories for work or they would starve.

23 – Society became divided between those who could afford luxuries and those who couldn’t because of the new economic system that was created from industrialization.

25 – It began in 1760 and ended around the 1850s. It changed society tremendously, as people moved from rural areas to urban centers, which created an increase in population density.

Factories were often dirty and dangerous places for workers. Women and children worked long hours at low wages with no benefits or protections. Families lived together in one room apartments because there was limited space available and rent prices were high.

The Industrial Revolution changed how people lived and worked by using new machines to replace human labor.

Some historians think that it began as early as 18th century because of changes such as increased trade with other countries, more technology, and better transportation methods.

This period also saw many inventions including the steam engine (1712), spinning jenny (1764), power loom (1825), air brake (1868). These inventions led to industrialization which is an increase in manufacturing through machines rather than handcrafts or artisans.

The industrial revolution is the term used to describe a period in history when new manufacturing processes were developed and put into use. This led to a shift from an agrarian economy that relied on manual labor, to one dominated by industry and machines.

One of the most important innovations was the invention of interchangeable parts which allowed for mass production.

In 1851, Britain’s population was roughly 20 million people but by 1901 it had almost tripled to 45 million people.

The first steam-powered train ran in 1830 between Birmingham and Liverpool, cutting travel time dramatically from days or weeks to hours.

Factories became more common as machines replaced handcraftsman due to their ability to produce goods at lower costs with less risk of error.

As cities grew larger during this time period, workers moved from rural areas where they lived on farms into urban centers looking for work in factories and other industries that needed laborers who could read, write, do math problems easily; these abilities helped them get better jobs than those without such skills.

The Industrial Revolution changed many aspects of daily life including how we live (more comfortable lives), what we eat (more processed food), how we communicate.

Factories were built near coal mines so they had access to fuel for their machinery.

Coal mining caused black lung disease because miners inhaled coal dust while working underground.

Factories used child labor because children worked for less money and were easier to control than adults.

There are many negative effects from industrial revolution such as pollution, exploitation of workers, and unsafe living conditions.
