3 – The most popular vegetables in the world are carrots, potatoes, tomatoes (technically a fruit), onions, broccoli, mushroom, lettuce and capsicum.

4 – It’s important to know how long you can store vegetables before they spoil- cucumbers will last 5 days in the refrigerator while spinach will only last 3 days.

5 – Ways to cook vegetables include: boiling, steaming, roasting, microwaving, frying and grilling.
